The daughter of the British businessman Simon Reuben—who, along with his brother David, were counted as the 60th wealthiest people in the world in a 2016 Forbes magazine list—Lisa Reuben is a collector and curator with an eye for contemporary art. She has recently kept out of the public eye, though in the past she worked in the contemporary art department at Sotheby’s. In 2016 she bought a red Rudolf Stingel for £1.75 million at Sotheby’s. Reuben has at different points used pseudonyms—including her husband’s surname and her middle name—when donating money to British politicians.
